This evening I decided to lay on my deck and look at the stars.
And I didn't just see a black sky with specks of white.
I saw the hand of a loving Heavenly Father in creating something just for me.
I saw the beauty of the universe.
I saw something that someone on the other side of the world can also look up and see.
I saw a promise that if the Lord can keep the vast heavens in complete order, He can do the same with my life.
And in that moment I forgot all the troubles and worries and stress that sometimes threaten to overwhelm.
In that moment I remembered the promise that a loving Father in Heaven gave to me:
"I will never leave thee, or forsake thee."
Hebrews 13:5
